Established in 1998, Customized Energy Solutions Ltd. assists clients in managing the changes in the wholesale and retail electricity markets. As the industry restructured, many participants recognized the value of creating sound market rules and staying abreast of market changes. Thus, Customized Energy Solutions was created to address the need to analyze, simplify and implement informed, fiscally responsible solutions on behalf of our clients.

ANALYZE

We help our clients to understand how market opportunities and changes will impact them, both strategically and financially. Our knowledge of the inner workings of wholesale and retail markets allows us to quickly analyze the impact of market conditions upon our clients’ operations. Whether the rule changes are taking place at the federal level, regional reliability councils, Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs), or with the local utilities, we work with our clients to define the bottom-line impact.

SIMPLIFY

Through our day-to-day presence in stakeholder forums, we are on the cutting edge of the real-time changes in the markets. We identify and track the issues and market areas that are important to our clients, and provide timely and concise reports. Often, proposed rules and changes are of a technical nature. We explain these clearly so that our clients always know why an issue may be important to their business interests.

IMPLEMENT

After assessing each of our client's needs, and helping them to understand their roles in the ever-changing energy markets, we work with them to implement the most effective solutions. We represent our clients in the ongoing evolution of energy markets through participation and advocacy in a variety of industry forums. Our goal is to ensure that our clients' interests are effectively brought to bear upon the market. For clients with dedicated external affairs personnel, we work with them to supplement their activities so that their resources are used for maximum benefit.
