INDIA ELECTRICITY 2010, the international Exhibition & Conference on Power Sector is going to be held from December 9 - 11, 2010 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. "INDIA ELECTRICITY 2010" would be the fifth event of the series.

The event is being organized by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India's largest and oldest apex business organization in existence since 1927.

At India Electricity - 2010, a new set of opportunities and challenges in the Indian power sector will be showcased in light of nation's ambitious targets for accelerated capacity addition programmes for the XIIth plan period (2012-17). Under the overall theme : "Indian Power Sector: Integrated Planning and Implementation - XIIth Plan and Beyond", the current event will focus on the areas needing preparations for achieving power sector targets. Of particular relevance will be those pertaining to project management skills, fuel management, manpower development, smart grids, distribution reforms, project financing, equipments manufacturing etc among others.
